We don't make a big stink about holidays like Valentine's Day (we're tough like that). There are never elaborate bouquets and boxes of chocolates, it's just not our style. Even for birthdays there's never wrapping paper involved; instead, we've taken to little weekend trips and vacations, usually with lots of cocktails involved. We'd rather spend our time enjoying each other...because that's what it's all about, right?
So, maybe we don't celebrate Valentine's Day, but I'll take any opportunity to sit with my man, by a fire, roasting some 'mallows.
(Kudos to me for making double pronged roasting sticks!)
